Selecting Practices for State Use
State Data Stewards are responsible for choosing the practices from the National practice table that will be used in their state. They also have the option to add practices used only in their state. State Data Stewards may add practice narratives and may also grant or deny permission to add narratives to the Local Data Stewards.
View and choose conservation practices from the National practice table.
State Data Stewards use several options to view the practice table. The default display lists conservation practices that are 1) active and 2) those that are authorized at the national level for state use.
The default sort order is practice name.
Clicking on a column header updates the sort order and display.
The Show Checked/Unchecked buttons displays only the checked/unchecked practices.
The Show All button lists all the practices from the master practice table.
Practices that are not authorized by the National Data Steward for use in the state data steward’s state are grayed.
Click on an empty check box in the Display column to select a practice, and click again to deselect it.
Clicking Save saves the selections in the state practice list table.
